Caroline Bogart, MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) is founder and president of Bogart Computing, LLC.

She started Bogart Computing, LLC on the principle that small businesses need easier access to managing their own websites and online shopping carts .

Experience

Caroline has more than 20 years of practical programming and software engineering experience.

She has managed newspaper and magazine software, website and web marketing projects.

Teaching and Training

Caroline teaches programming and software engineering. She is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in ASP.NET web development.

She created the curriculum for and taught a four-month C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Visual Studio.NET boot camp for the software engineers at the Concord Insurance Group in Bow, NH.

She created and ran the Greater Nashua Software Entrepreneur Group's Schoolhouse, dedicated to teaching unemployed software engineers .NET programming by building a web site for the non-profit group The Way Home.

Caroline has taught ADO.NET and ASP.NET for two New Hampshire training companies.

Caroline is both a PHP and Windows programmer. She current specializes in PHP, especially in relation to PHP open source projects.

Open source PHP projects include modifying eCommerce products such as Zen-Cart and osCommerce , and content management systems (CMS) such as Joomla and WordPress.

Caroline has written newspaper classified advertising software for three different generations of computing (DEC, Sun, Windows).

She has written (or helped write) data translation libraries for Scribe Software, a WYWIWYG editor for Ektron.

Education

Caroline has a BA from Goucher College where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and 9th in her class in 1984.

She graduated from The Chubb Institute's Software Engineering program in 1988 with the school's highest scores to that date.
